Terms of Service

Effective November 2, 2026 (version 2026-11-02). These terms are the agreement between you and Cellionaire ("we", "us") for using cellionaire.com. By using the site or buying cells you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't buy cells. Questions: hello@cellionaire.com.

The short version

• Anyone can take your cells at any time by paying 1.5× what was last paid for them. When that happens, you receive nothing and you are not refunded.
• Payments are final. The only refund is for an image order whose review is rejected or does not finish in time (see the Refund Policy).
• A cell's price drops back to $1 24 hours after its last sale.
• Every order needs at least 10 cells.
• We do not promise that the canvas, or your cells on it, will be shown forever.

What you are buying

Cellionaire is a canvas of 1,000,000 cells (1000×1000). When you buy cells you pay for your chosen colors (or your image) to be shown in those cells until someone else takes them. You do not buy property, land, a token, a share, or any right to resell. Cells are not an investment and have no cash value. Your display name is shown as the owner of the cells while they are yours.

Prices

• An empty cell costs $1.
• A cell someone already owns costs 1.5× its last price (50% more), rounded up to the next cent. For example $1 → $1.50 → $2.25.
• 24 hours after a cell's last sale, its price goes back to $1. Whoever buys it then starts the 1.5× ladder again.
• Minimum order: 10 cells (empty and taken cells count together).
• The total you see at checkout is the price you pay. Prices are in US dollars. We may change prices for future orders; a change never affects an order you already paid for.

Taking cells (overwrite)

Any cell can be bought by anyone at any time, including cells you own, by paying 1.5× its last price. The new buyer's colors replace yours immediately. The previous owner gets nothing: no payment, no share of the price, and no refund. Before you pay, you confirm that you understand this.

Checkout and reservation

When you start a checkout, the selected cells are reserved for you for 10 minutes. If the payment is not completed in that time, the reservation ends and nothing is charged. A payment that arrives after the reservation ended is not applied to the canvas; contact us at hello@cellionaire.com and we will refund it.

Image orders and review

Orders that include an uploaded image are reviewed before they go live. While the review runs, the cells stay reserved and the canvas does not change. If the image is approved, your cells go live. If it is rejected, or the review does not finish within 12 hours, nothing on the canvas changes and you get a full refund to your original payment method.

Content rules

You are responsible for what you put on the canvas. You must have the right to use any image you upload. Not allowed:

• any sexual content involving minors, in any style (including drawn or anime styles);
• pornography or explicit sexual content;
• realistic or photographic gore or graphic violence;
• anything illegal;
• hate, harassment, scams or spam, and content that infringes someone else's rights.

Uploaded images are checked by an automated review. Anyone can report a cell. We may remove or cover content that breaks these rules, or that we are legally required to remove, at any time and without a refund.

No guarantee of display

We work to keep the site online, but we do not guarantee that it, the canvas, or your cells will be available or shown for any length of time. We may pause, change or shut down the site. The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Your conduct

There are no accounts. Do not attack, overload or automate the site in a way that harms other visitors, and do not try to get around the review, the reservation or the prices. You must be old enough to make purchases where you live (at least 18 in most places).

Changes

We may update these terms. The version and date at the top tell you which version applies. An order is always governed by the version you accepted at checkout.
